Face toners – LAC+B12, EQUILA and REBALANCE Cu+

A toner is not mandatory, but a well-selected formula can support hydration, comfort, sebum balance or a more even-looking complexion. The current IDO LAB range includes LAC+B12, EQUILA and REBALANCE Cu+.

Which face toner should you choose?

For sensitive or reactive skin, choose LAC+B12 with vitamin B12, lactic acid, betaine and amino acids. EQUILA with azeloglycine and niacinamide is intended for skin with excess sebum and uneven tone and may also be used on the body. REBALANCE Cu+ combines copper proline, amino acids and PHA acids to complement routines focused on hydration and skin elasticity.

How should a face toner be used?

Apply after cleansing with your hands or a cotton pad, without intensive rubbing. Follow with a serum and cream. When a toner contains active ingredients, consider them as part of the whole routine and avoid unnecessary layering of products with similar effects.

How toning fits into a complete skincare routine

Toning and cleansing

A toner does not remove makeup and should not replace a cleanser. Its role is to complement the routine after cleansing and prepare the skin for subsequent products.

Does a face toner need to be rinsed off?

No, unless the product instructions state otherwise. Once absorbed, continue with the next step of your routine.

Can toner and exfoliating products be used together?

Check the active ingredients in both products. When using an exfoliating toner, avoid applying another intensive acid peel in the same routine and introduce products gradually.
